Gurugram: A total of 556 people in Gurugram who lost their relatives for Covid have been applied to the district administration for compensation.
From them, 366 had received financial assistance of 50,000 rs as announced by the state government in June last year, officials said.
In Gurugram, as many as 981 people surrendered to Coronavirus until February 10 said that of 925 deaths related covid registered in the Ministry of Health between May 2020 and November 2021, family members claimed compensation for 550 victims.
“We have agreed to 366 applications and channel money through a direct benefit transfer system related to Aadhaar,” Yash Garg said, before releasing his accusation as Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram on Thursday.
