Some owe workers say they have been forced to borrow further from money lenders or stores.
“It’s been a few days since I got a penny.
If it continues like this for a week, we will die because of starvation than pollution,” said Pran Singh (37), who came from Mahaga-Up Regency.

Regions like Sektor 5, Bhuteshwar Chowk, Sikanderpur and Udyog Vihar have been very chaotic for the past few days.
From a mason to a plumber and painter for unskilled workers, hundreds of people flocked to these places looking for jobs as early as 8 in the morning.

“During the last few days, we have survived credit that local shops gave us.
But now he even refuses to give a ration until we complete our contributions.
If we don’t find a job, we might have to sleep with an empty stomach today,” he said.
Some workers demanded that the prohibition was appointed and called “irrational”.
“The car exudes toxic pollutants but they do not face any action.
Why is there a ban on only work or work that gives us eating? We don’t even consider when such steps are taken,” said 27-year-old Bharat Kumar, who returned from his village at the village Jhansi in April after the second wave.
Whereas trade unions, have demanded immediate assistance for workers.
While the section has supported the National Campaign Committee for legislators about construction workers who have transferred SC to orders and looking for ex-gratia for workers, others find it too time consuming and wants “instant solutions”.
“We will write to the government who ask him to review orders.
It is very sad that the government knows that the ban removes the poor from their livelihoods, but does not consider their situation before taking such steps.
These decisions are strange and authoritarian and they are Ignoring the democratic process involving all stakeholders and overcoming their concerns, “Satbir Singh said, member of the Indian Trade Union Center.
