Gurugram: Sanyukt Hindu Sangharsh Samiti (SHSS) has announced that it will conduct Govardhan Puja in Sector 12, Gurugram on November 5 to oppose Friday prayers in open areas in the city.
Clothing members will also distribute ‘Annakoot Prasad’ on that occasion, he was announced by a press conference here on Sunday.
Sector-12 is the same location where the police arrested 30 members of Hindu clothes on October 29 because they tried to disrupt Friday prayers.
Overcoming journalists, SHSS Haryana State President Mahavir Bhardwaj said that Namaz who was detained in public places in Gurugram must be stopped immediately.
He also told the ministerial chief that the district government mislead the government by showing a list of the designated Friday prayer sites without any official signature in the list.
Bhardwir demands the issuance of the Government of Haryana, a notification that prohibits religious practices in public places in the state.
