Gurugram: A man who claims to be a qualified doctor has been ordered for allegedly abortion illegally in the new colonies.
This case has been registered with the Medical Department complaint.
Allegations, Jitender, have studied until grade 12 and trained as a doctor at Shree Shyam’s medical store near the number 9 road in the Mandanpuri area, police said.
He allegedly helped cessation of pregnancy by providing a kit to combine the fetus.
Acting on the information received, Gurugram Civil Surgeon Virender Yadav is a team on Tuesday which consists of Dr.
Pradeep Kumar, Nodal Officer (PNDT ACT), Dr.
Harish (medical officer) and Dr Neene Gupta, the main medical officer.
For the attack, the pair was arranged as a bait.
Both of them went to the Jitender shop and told him that they did not want children and need care.
He allegedly gave them a medical termination package (MTP) and explained the procedure on how to use it for an abortion of pregnancy.
When buying a kit, the bait pair handed over the marked record and immediately after that, signal to the medical department team.
When the team asked Jitender to show his medical certificate, he claimed he did not have qualifications.
He has cleared the 12th grade test and has been practicing since the last four years and helped cessation of illegal pregnancy by selling kits over the past six months.
Medical stores, teams found, registered in other people’s names, to whom Jitender pays a monthly fee.
Jitender was ordered under the relevant part of the medical termination of the Pregnancy Law, Indian Medical Council Law and drugs and cosmetic actions at the New Colony Police Station, said a spokesman for the Subhash Surgery Police.
Dr.
Pradeep Kumar, representatives of civil surgeons, said they managed to carry out attacks and expose shamans.
“He illegally provides a MTP kit for pregnant women and endangers their lives,” he added.
