Gurugram: The Ministry of Health has established insulation facilities for international passengers testing positive Covid-19.
This facility, which has 40 beds, was founded in sector 67 on Friday as a precaution after the Omicron case was reported throughout the country, officials said.
So far, no travelers who return to cities from abroad have tested covid-positive.
There is a strong possibility that the case will increase next month and thus, a need to establish independent facilities in Gurgaon, said health officials.
A total of 11,559 international travelers have returned to the city since November 26.
“This facility has 40 oxygen beds, where international patients who are positive Covid will stay.
