Jaipur: A man, working with a private consulting company, was shot dead outside the Office of the National Highways Highways in Jaipur on Thursday, police said.
The victim, RK Chawla, came from Gurugram (Haryana) to meet NHAI officials about a project, they said.
He was shot dead by two attackers as soon as he left the office, Vaishali Nagar Assistant Commissioner Police (ACP) Raisingh Beniwal said.
“On the basis of CCTV footage, efforts were made to identify the defendant,” he said, adding to the victim’s body was sent for postmortem.
