Gurugram: Gurgaon City corporation (MCG) announced on Tuesday that Diesel and CNG Autos with a fitness certificate from regional transportation authorities (RTA) will be permitted in the city e-becak zone, will return to his decision to assess three wheelers in specific areas.
The decision came on the day a group of Auto CNG drivers started a demonstration at Leisure Valley Ground in Sector 29 and demanded that they be allowed to stab in the electric vehicle zone.
On August 16, Minister of Manohar’s Chairman Lal Khattar had launched the e-Rickshaw zone and marked 600 tricycles operated by batteries under the Project – Parivartan – which aims to replace the autos diesel with e-rickshaw gradually.
A statement issued on that day clearly stated that only e-rickshaws would be allowed to stab in the electric vehicle zone (EV) – which included the main areas of the city of Cyber, Jalan Golf, Jalan MG, IFFCO Chowk City Center and Huda City.
The statement also said that 2,000 old diesel auto will be replaced in the first phase.
On Tuesday, MCG said that “did not stop Diesel and CNG Autos” from Plying in the EV zone.
“MCG, RTA and Traffic Police Gurugram on August 16 launched an electric tricycle zone ecosystem in the city.
Before launching a zone and scheme, we have held a meeting with representatives from the United Body and car driver and told them about the plan.
We haven’t stopped Diesel and CNG Autos from Plying in the three-wheel zone as long as they have fitness who are certified and other documents needed, “said Commissioner MCG Mukesh Kumar Ahuja in a statement.
The Auto CNG driver, which has begun to gather at the protest location around 9 in the morning, calling their demonstration after the decision was announced at around 2:00 p.m.
“We told the authorities clearly that they had to take back their decisions not to allow CNG and Diesel Autos in the electric vehicle zone.
The decision would make many automatic drivers unemployed.
CNG Autos was introduced in big cities because they were more environmentally friendly.
Thousands of automatic drivers switched from Diesel to CNG then.

“If the government wants to ban Diesel and CNG Autos, it must first have to turn off the fuel station and also does not allow diesel and gasoline cars.
