Gurugram: Power Cuts Daily, residents say developers have not built infrared 33 kV

Gurugram: Residents of Pyramid Urban Homes 2 in Sector 86 complained about frequent power outages and voltage fluctuations in their communities.
According to residents, 11 KV Feeder the power supply line to their flat.
Developers, they claim, have not built a 33 KV switching station despite collecting an average RS 50,000 per flat as the cost of building electricity infrastructure.
The result is two-three hours of power cutting every day.
“Builder has obtained an electrical connection while 11 KV.
There is an ordinary power outage here, causing difficulties for those who work from home and influence children’s study.
Even this winter, when consumption is lacking, we face ordinary power outages.
Most of the population has installed an inverter, but sometimes, they also run out of battery, “said RK Jain, one of the residents.
The developer began giving a flat to homeowners in December 2020.
More than 600 families live in the community, which has 863 apartments.
They have a registered complaint about this problem, said the family, but the developer and the electricity department did not pay attention to their problems.
“The developer did not respond to us and always avoided when we asked about the 33 KV switching station.
Developers and discoms continued to pass money.
There was no transparency in electricity bills.
We charged Rs 6.5 per unit and provide Rs 200 per month as a fixed cost, “Another resident of Vijay Singh Saroa said.
Toi cannot reach the developer to comment even though it repeatedly tries.
When contacted, Gaurav Dahiya, SDO Manesar, said, “There is no shortage of power supply from our side.
All developers from sector 58-115 need to make switching stations 33 KV, individually or with other builders.
We have asked them to do that most beginning.
