Gurugram: The executive of private companies has hung himself and accused his wife and parents relaxing harassment in suicide notes, police said on Monday.
Based on suicide records, a case has been registered with four people, including his wife.
Vinod, Rathiwas residents, married to Ritika in 2019.
Last year, they had a baby girl.
Three months ago, Ritika returned to her parents’ house and had refused to return despite repetitive demand from Vinod, according to the record.
His brother, Vijay Kumar said Vinod visited his in-laws’ house many times but failed to convince and bring his wife back.
On September 11, Vinod visited him when his father-in-law Ved Prakash, Mother-in-law and Brother-in-law Kunal allegedly behaved with him.
“On September 12, my brother shared a trial with me.
He told me that he was handled when he asked his in-laws’ parents to allow him to bring his wife and daughter back home,” Vijay said, added that Vinod was upset after the incident.
Vinod missed me to meet his nine months old daughter and was not happy to be from him, said Vijay.
On Sundays, Vinod hung himself.
Vinod, according to Vijay, has called his father-in-law before taking extreme steps and told him that he would hug them for it.
“I got a call from Vinod’s father-in-law who told me about what Vinod said to him.
I was on my farm, about one kilometer from home.
I rushed to his house, but found the door locked from the inside,” Vijay said.
He opened the gate and found Vinod hanging from the ceiling.
He rushed to the hospital and the police were told.
In a suicide note, a police officer said, Vinod had held his wife and his parents responsible for suicide and accused them of harassment.
Based on the suicide record, a case is registered at the Bilaspur police station below 306 (suicide reduction) and 34 (general intentions) IPC.
