Gurugram: In an effort to achieve full vaccination status for the earliest population, the Ministry of Health on Friday asked a private hospital to provide incentives to those who were fully vaccinated.
“All private hospitals must provide incentives to people who are fully vaccinated to motivate others to get the first second dose.
These incentives can be a 10% discount for registration fees, easy access to the first doctor or the first opd.
It can inspire others who has not received the second dose, “said Chief Medical Officer Virender Yadav.
The decision was taken during the district assignment cluster meeting on Friday.
While IAS Medicare Hospital said it would provide the first OPD free for people who were fully vaccinated, other facilities would discuss this issue with their team first.
Similarly, malls and market areas will also be urged to provide incentives to buyers who are fully vaccinated.
“We will talk to the shop owner to give discounts to people who have taken both doses,” said Dr.
Yadav, added that they also asked religious places to promote vaccine awareness through the announcement.
The Ministry of Health also plans to provide school staff resources to answer the general covid vaccination question.
There are 127 governments and 232 private schools in the city.
Health officials said it was important for school staff, including teachers and administrators, to find out what role they played in communication, education and activities related to the Covid vaccine.
Schools are asked to gather information from students about adults at home and the number of doses taken by them.
On Friday, 9,845 people in the age group of 18-44 and 1.467 in the 45-plus category were inoculated.
Two health workers and three frontline workers also got Jab.
Overall, 11,317 doses were given.
