Gurugram: Six armed men allegedly entered private bank ATMs in the Dhankot area in early Saturday and managed to escape with cash, even though there was a police attempt to pursue them.
Around 1.45 in the morning, the police patrol saw several suspicious activities at the Kiosk ATM.
Feeling the presence of police nearby, the six men released one round in the police approaching and tried to speed up.
However, the bullet missed the target.
The police said they had chased the car to Kaliawas, where he crashed into the divider on the road.
“When the car stopped, the robbers went down and fled in the dark,” said a police officer.
Police check the recording of all the closest CCTV cameras to identify robbers.
“For now, we have no clue about who the men are, but we are checking all the nearest CCTV cameras.
We hope to subdue them immediately,” said a police officer at the Rajendra Park police station.
There was no clarity of the amount of money stolen from the ATM because the bank had not filed a complaint to the police.
A pine has been put forward at the Rajendra Park police station.
