Gurugram: Everyday cases in the city increased to 2,261 on Wednesday from 2,030 on Tuesday.
On the other hand, the pioneering level remains 23.3%, equal to the previous day.
The city also reported another Covid death on Wednesday.
A 49-year-old man, was hospitalized on January 4 with general weakness, declining appetite and stomach ache, died after a heart stop on Wednesday.
Men who are fully vaccinated, who suffer from diabetes mellitus, hypertension and colon cancer stage 4, has been treated with fluid IV, antibiotics and other supporting steps.
The doctors also placed it on mechanical ventilator and inotropic support, given the shortness of breath.
In the last 17 days, the city has reported 21 Covid-One deaths on January 10, another on January 12, two on January 14, respectively on January 15 and 16, and two each on January 17, 19, 19 , three, January 21, two on January 22, one on January 23, two on January 24 and one on January 26.
Gurugram has reported the death of 948 Covid since the start of Pandemi.
In this case, 630 patients have comorbidity.
A total of 3,001 Covid patients were also restored on Wednesday.
The city now has 10,797 active cases, including 179 patients in hospitals and 10,618 in house isolation.
At present, there are no active omicron cases.
The Chief Medical Officer Virender Yadav said that everyday cases will decrease further a week.
“Active cases have dropped below 11,000, and our monitoring team ensures the case of house isolation does not change severely and no covid deaths that occur in house isolation.
We expect that in a week, new cases of everyday must drop significantly,” Yadav said.
On Wednesday, 9,684 samples were collected for tests.
Haryana reported 6,351 new cases on Wednesday, with a 16.4% testing level.
While Gurugram registered the maximum number of new cases across the state, Faridabad remained second with 668, followed by Sonīpat (391), Panchkula (373) and Hisar (373).
At present, the country has 39,565 active patients, among them 37,990 in house isolation.
