Gurugram: While returning from Gurgaon to Rewari, a police officer was fired near Daruai on Monday at 10:30 a.m.
In accordance with the police, the police came home from assignments, when criminals fired a shot.
At the time of the incident, the officer was accompanied by a friend.
The bullet hit a Constable Fortuner car.
According to police, Umed Singh, a native resident of Restoration Village Sirohi Narnaul, pushed his fortuner to his residence at BMG City in Rewari on Monday night with Hiralal friends.
Both of them stopped for dinner at Highway Delhi-Jaipur at Aravali Hotel.
Both of them came out at 10:30 a.m.
Silver vehicle stopped beside Fortuner, where Singh and his friend sat down.
However, criminals came out of another car and pointed at them.
Even though Singh managed to escape with a car a bullet about the vehicle bumper.
Umed Singh immediately told the police in 112.
The case was submitted at the Daruai Police Station below 307 (murder attempt), 34 (general intentions) IPC.
“It was a narrow escape for the police.
We are investigating CCTV cameras to track the defendant,” said an officer.
