Gurugram: A 44-year-old woman and her three-year-old granddaughter died while her husband suffered an injury after a truck that quickly hit their bikes at the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) on Thursday.
In a separate accident at SPR, two pedestrians were hit by a speeding car and injured.
Inesh Devi (44), grandchildren, Seeya (3), and Pal Gaje (46) headed to the village of Kherki Daula with two-wheeled vehicles when a truck that quickly hit him.
In his police complaint, Gaje, a resident of Fazilpur Village, said he planned to meet his relatives at Kherki Daula on Thursday when his wife also insisted.
“When we left, my daughter-in-law requested that we bring our granddaughter too because she wanted to finish housework,” said Gaje.
Gaje, driving a two-wheel with his wife and granddaughter behind her, took her left turn on the SPR when a truck quickly hit her bicycle from behind and threw the three.
Inesh and seeing under the wheels and dragged almost 100 meters by trucks.
Both of them died in place.
Gaje ends on the side of the road, hurt.
“My wife and granddaughter were destroyed under a truck while I fell on dividers and experienced a few injuries,” said Gaje.
Then, at the hospital, the doctor stated Inesh and Seeya was taken dead.
Gaje accepts treatment.
The truck driver, whose police have not identified, escaped from where to leave the vehicle.
The police have registered a case below Section 279 (rash driving), 337 (causing injured by acting to endanger the personal life or safety of others), 304A (death in an accident) from the IPC in the driver.
Inspector of Dinkar, Station House Officer (Sho), the Badshapur Police Station, said two police teams reached the place and brought victims to a civil hospital in Sector 10.
“We tried to identify and track truck owners through the vehicle registration number.” Sho said.
According to the police, almost 16 accidents occurred in this year’s SPR because it accelerated.
Stretching also does not have the right street lights.
In the second case, Guddu Paswan (37) and his friend Praveen walked home at around 11:30 a.m.
after finishing their work in a restaurant when he quickly approached them near Vatika Chowk in Spr.
The accident occurred several hundred meters from the liquor vend.
“The driver loses control and crashes into the victims.
The defendant then escaped from the place,” Sho said, adding that they now scan CCTV footage to track drivers.
