Gurugram: told to stop, three men burned the police team, held

Gurugram: Three men have been arrested after they allegedly opened fire on the police team in Bajera.
Others managed to escape, police said.
The incident came a day after Faridabad Constable police were killed during the attack on Haridwar.
Earlier this week, the vehicle lifting gang had opened fire on the police team in Sector 50.
The police managed to arrest four members.
Anand Inspector, responsible for the Sector 31 crime unit, said they received information that four-five teenagers planned to carry out crimes in Bajera on Friday night and would be armed and traveled by vehicle.
Anand and his team made checkpost in the 114 road sector near the village of Bajera.
Meanwhile, they saw Mahindra Thar without a number from Delhi’s side.
When the police signaled the driver to stop, instead of stopping, he accelerated and crashed into police barricades.
One police officer suffered a minor injury.
Three young men then jumped out of the vehicle and tried to escape when opening a fire in the police team.
ASI Neer managed to avoid bullets and hit a police vehicle.
While the team managed to arrest three young men, the fourth managed to escape.
The people arrested were identified as Dara Singh, Amit alias Meeta and Abhinaav Sharma, all of Najafgarh in New Delhi.
A pine has been listed under them under section 186 (blocking public servants), 332 (voluntarily causing injury), 353 (attacks on public servants), 307 (efforts to murder) and 34 (general intentions) IPC, regardless of the part – Weapon acts.
