Gurugram Traffic Plan Part 2 To have a better camera?

Gurugram: Public Safety and the Adaptive Traffic Management System that is being carried out by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), in collaboration with Gurugram Police, can be more efficient and effective in the phase of both, with officials revealing that they are exploring the possibility of increasing the CCTV camera will be installed.
According to officials, in phase I, which targets installing 1,200 cameras throughout the city, a 4 megapixel CCTV camera installed.
However, in the next phase, officials are looking at a quality increase of up to 6 megapixels.
It has also been discussed at a review of the review between GMDA and the Police Commissioner in November, where the latter recognizes that there is a “substantial increase” in the performance of CCTV cameras after this “re-deposited and focused” in consultation with DCP (East).
He has revealed that the number of “automatic challans” has now reached more than 1,000 per day, but suggests that, for better results, the quality of the camera can be further enhanced from 4 megapixels to 6 megapixels.
Speaking to Toi, a senior GMDA official said, “When we started working on phase I, when the tender floated in 2018, 4 megapixels were the best cameras available.
Now, now, if we go for phase II and the megapixel camera has been Increasing to say 6 or anything around it, we will try and take the latest at this stage.
Whatever we do at that time is the best and whatever we will do now will be the best.
“Officials said that the phase I of the project was almost complete and they now work with the police department to do phase II.
“Gurugram police identified the location where they needed a camera, and also looked for locations that could be converted from the general supervision site to the full control site.
The last is the people where we caught the number plate, committing red light violations and removing other challans,” The official said.
“In this phase, therefore, there will be several sites to be converted from general supervision to full supervision, and there will also be more addition to tracking evil, supervision, and all,” the official added.
Public security and adaptive traffic management systems from GMDA are considered as a way to help the police department attach traffic violations by allowing them to track the wrong vehicles.
In addition, it is expected to help realize better supervision throughout the city, which officials will expect will function as a deterrent for anti-social elements.
