Gurugram Varsity, EESL SIGN MOU To Increase EV Charging Infra

Gurgaon: To promote energy conservation and find new roads for the use of renewable energy, Gurugram University on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Limited Energy Efficiency Services (EESL).
The contract was signed by the University Registrar, Shashi.
Bhushan Bharti and Tosh Eesl Agarwal (head of state, Haryana) in front of Prof.
Dinesh Kumar, Deputy Chancellor, Gurugram University.
Under the MOU, the opportunity for energy efficiency and conservation steps will be explored at Gurugram University and the two institutions will work together towards its implementation.
In addition to sharing expertise in energy conservation, the university will also explore ways to develop EV charging infrastructure and ways to apply state government schemes associated with EV promotion.
“The aim of MOU is to work in the field of energy efficiency comprehensively through cooperation.
There is a need to develop and maintain a new partnership that aims to promote energy conservation and research through collaborative efforts from both institutions.
