Gurugram: Waterways are bombed by dust, garbage causes waterlogging in 4 sectors

Gurugram: The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) assigned the RS 57.10 Lakh Project for reinforced (RCC) cleaning cleaning and desilalates (RCC) near the sector 30, 31, 40 and 41, which can resolve water problems in the area.
According to GMDA officials, it will take two months to complete the project.
Pardeep Kumar, Chief Engineer, GMDA, Infra 2, said that previously the authorities had finished building surface disposal in the area to check water problems.
Drain the surface connects the Stormwater channel through the green belt area with a stormwater drain master running along the National Highway 48.
Regardless of work, the area continues to see airlogging.
“The water in the area does not drain during rainfall; it will take two and a half to three hours for water to clean,” Kumar said.
When the next problem was examined, it was found 40-60% of the water storm flowing between the road sector separators 40 and 41, 31 and 41, and 31 and 31 to the sector 31 flyover on the NH-48 choking with dust and waste.
As a result, water cannot drain it into the Master Storm Water Drain along the NH-48.
This problem was taken at the Core Planning Cell (BPK) meeting from GMDA in September.
At the meeting, officials told that 23 holes in the area had been examined and the documentation had been prepared about the total volume of mud that needed to be cleaned.
Then, the CEO of GMDA Sudhir Rajpal has directed officials to provide details about when the last hole is cleaned cleaned using a “high-power super sucker machine”.
“This drain was previously with Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) and was transferred to the US three years ago.
However, it seems that it has not been cleaned for a long time.
The proposal for cleaning and desel was approved at the Mr.
Meeting,” Kumar said.
He said that GMDA will now float the tender for the job.
“Once the work begins, it will take about two months to finish it.
We hope it is done in March next year and this waterlogging problem will be resolved with the next monsoon,” he said.
Drain that is not clogged will help clear water from the sector 30, 31, 40 and 41, which sees high legs and includes several community markets, offices, schools and hospitals, said GMDA officials.
