Gurugram: When school is not the screen for the first time

Gurgaon: Pratik and Nancy walk carefully and take around it, wide-eyed.
The voices around them were familiar but there was nothing else about that day.
Two 6-year-old children experienced a classroom that was not on the cellphone screen for the first time, 17 months after they signed up to school.
Classes have not started with cellular notifications but gong bells, parents are not there for hugs and toffees before their time, and there is no choice to turn off the video and stretch the chair.
This is not how they already know the school.
On Monday, a number of children got the first sense of school life after class 1-3 was called back to campus throughout the state.
The junior classes opened this March briefly, because it was almost a few weeks and with a very low presence, before the Covid wave crashed.
Since the pandemic closes the campus in March 2020, this is the first return to school.
Concerns about large learning gaps due to prolonged online classes under 50% and most government schools opened for physical classes.
But for small children whose schools began with online classes because the pandemic that closed the campus last March, it was a chance – a confusing part, some were happy, some pleasant.
Pratik and Nancy, friends with their votes since they enroll in class II from the Bajhera government school, held a meeting for the first time.
Nancy said she was worried and excited – she would finally meet her friends, but “I don’t know if my friends want me”.
Pratik annoyed because it was made to sit away from his friends – on the bench alone and with strict instructions not to move.
“I want to sit near my friends, but the teachers don’t allow me.
But my teachers are good to me,” said the 6-year-old player, who had seen his cousin wearing a uniform and went to school and finally did it himself.
On the first day of the return, the government school recorded a 40% average attendance.
Private schools, however, have decided to adopt the waiting and watching policies.
Many of them have sent Google Sheets to retrieve feedback from parents while calling junior students.
In the Sanskriti School model, 92 of 150 students attended the class on Monday.
The election at the Bajhera government school is also good.
“It was more than we expected.
More students must join a few days.
Students are happy and eager to return to school.
Likewise the teachers,” said Manoj Lakh, principal of the Bajera government school.
At a government school in Kadispur, 389 of 935 class I III students appeared.
The Principal of Sttan recognizes many parents who are still worried about sending their children to school.
“Some parents are still hesitant to send their children to school.
However, we hope to see more students in the next 2-3 days,” he added.
There are all-round concerns in large learning gaps because of the period of a prolonged online class.
After the second wave passed and the case fell, even private schools began to remember students in the senior class back to campus in phase.
The section of the parent has shown that children have not been vaccinated and returned to school describing them to a pandemic.
Some teachers claimed to be more difficult to make children follow the Covid protocol themselves.
“The teacher is under extreme pressure to bring children back to school.
Some parents are still skeptical.
Those who sent their children to ask us why we did not distribute midday food.
In accordance with the government’s orders, we have distributed dry quota.
At home.
But parents want their children to be fed at school, “said Dushyant Thakan, Haryana Prathmik District District Chief Sangh.
In some schools, the lack of worrying support staff.
“In these schools, the teacher himself has swept the floor and cleans the classroom.
This is the addition of teaching children, distributing rations and other tasks,” said Thakas.
