Jaipur: The Governor of Kalaraj Mishra has asked all state universities to implement the earliest New Education Policy (NEP).
He said the policy was not only promoting independence through improving skills but also based on Indian cultural values.
The Governor handled the cover session of the Meeting Committee of the Vice-State University Coordination Committee in Raj Bhavan on Monday.

Mishra said universities must find ways to produce resources to become financially independent.
“The university must spread awareness about the struggle of Indian freedom and popularize local heroes by organizing exhibitions and seminars under the Amrit Mahotsiv of Azadi,” Mishra said.
He directed the university to regulate the ‘Center of Excellence’ and provide education through sophisticated teaching methods through them.
Adopt villages under social participation and develop it as a smart village with facilities with the cooperation of state government departments at various levels discussed at the meeting.
Chancellor Mishra directs that integrated policies must be adopted to provide free education to special students at all state universities and postal terms from registrants at universities must for a minimum period of two years.
“The inter-student transfer system at the University under the Credit-Based System (CBC) in NEP must be developed.
Uniformity must be maintained in the manufacture of constitutional parks and all universities must also complete this work,” Mishra said.
The Minister of State for higher education, Rajendra Singh Yadav, said Chancellor and Registrar representatives must work with joint coordination considering quality education as a top priority at the university.
He suggested representatives of Chancellor must notify the education department of the University’s work plan so that the right provisions can be made for them in the upcoming budget.
