Ranchi: The Governor of Ramesh Bais on Friday asked the Institute of Education to improve their performance continuously instead of just distributing medals and certificates to students to increase personality.
“Education must also convert empty thoughts into open thoughts and teachers must identify the potential of students to guide them,” he said.
BAIS further said educational institutions must have better infrastructure with high-quality libraries and laboratories.
“Jharkhand is an educational center but also has to increase job opportunities and entrepreneurs,” the Governor said.
He observed that the Institute also had to find out the reason for students’ migration to foreign countries for higher education.
“The university education environment in the state must be increased,” he added.
During the meeting, the governor distributed 79 gold medals to the top subject toppers and the best graduates, which included 49 Girls Dr.
Kumar said the university faced many ups and downs for 62 years of existence but had come out with flying colors.
