Kolkata: Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Tuesday accused the Governor of Bengal Jagdeep Dhankhar speaking “half truth,” following the last statement on Monday that he was “never cut off in the Hawala case” in the 1990s.
Dhankhar “was never released”, said TMC seniors at a press conference on Tuesday, added that the trial had not been completed in the past three decades.
TMC Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Sekhar Ray quoted Facebook Post by Vineet Narain, who has transferred the Supreme Court about this problem, and said: “CBI and Ed submitted a case but, in the legal labyrinth, the trial never started.

The case, involving several other senior politicians, has a direct bearing on the nation’s security.
