Kolkata: Five feared passengers have died after deriament of several compartments above Bikaner-Guwahati revealed at around 5 pm on Thursday in Domahani in the Mainaguri area, West Bengal.
Guwahati’s bound train slips between Domohani and the new Mainaguri station and four compartments mostly damaged.
Some passengers were thrown from the train in the impact of the accident and one compartment was dropped above the other.
The train left the new domestic station at around 4.53 in the afternoon and soon after, the train faced the accident, a official said.

Even North Bengal Medical College was asked to prepare accident passengers.
