Guwahati: A neurosurgeon, Dr.
Navanil Barua, who allegedly recognized a new 29-year-old Rajomaanya model, was accused of a case of a road accident, to a city-based private hospital on October 3 by signing a “fake medical certificate” about the head.
Injury, was arrested by Guwahati police on Sunday after three-day interrogation on charges of hugging the model.
However, he was given a guarantee of five hours after his arrest.
DCP (East), Guwahati, Subrajyyoti Bora told Toi that a new case has been registered with a doctor to hide the model (IPC 212)), causing loss of evidence of violations and or providing false information to filter the perpetrators (IPC 201) and criminal conspiracy below 120B IPC.
The court here in Guwahati on Friday sent Rajomaanya’s model recently, was accused of a case of a road accident, to hold the trial while the police questioned a neurosurgeon and supervisor of private hospitals for allegedly helping him to avoid police investigations.
Rajkanya missed the police interrogation on Wednesday quoting the certificate.
On Thursday, the police arrested him from the ICU from the hospital based on the government’s medical panel of six doctors, who found his suites appearing in front of the officers who investigated.
The police have submitted a new case against a 29-year-old model, who allegedly drunk drunk and has knocked down eight roadside workers, hurt one of them seriously.
Before entering the interrogation room at the police station was disputed, Navanil Barua denied the allegations that he protected Rajkyiah by publishing a fake certificate.
He, moreover, said he didn’t even know the defendant.
“I didn’t help him.
Whatever I did, I did it by following medical ethics,” Neurosurgeon said.
Director General of Police (DGP) Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta on Saturday said Dr.
Navanil Barua called him on the phone on October 4 before the model was arrested.
