Ghaziabad: Following upon the FIR it Registered Before this week, Ghaziabad Authorities on Thursday Delivered a Note to Manish Maheshwari, MD of Twitter India, under Section 166 of the CrPc.
The note guides Maheshwari to appear until the investigating officer of the situation in Loni boundary police station within seven days of receiving the communication.
Akhilesh Mishra, the SHO of all Loni boundary police station, stated,”The note was issued.

About June 16 Ghaziabad authorities had registered an FIR against Mohammed Zubair, co-founder of all fact-checking site Alt News, journalists and commentators Rana Ayyub and Saba Naqvi along with Salman Nizami, Maskoor Usmani and Shama Mohamed of Congress under sections 153 (provocation with intent to cause riot), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of faith ), 295A (intentional and malicious acts meant to outrage religious feelings), 505 (publishing or circulating any statement, rumour or accounts together with intention to incite), 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 34 (common intention) of this IPC.
The FIR was filed what authorities claimed was an abysmal movie of Abdul Samad, the 72-year-old guy who was assaulted at Loni about June 5, where he maintained that his assailants named him a spy and left him say’Jai Shri Ram’.
Authorities have said the assault on Samad was due to a personal grudge the primary accused, Pravesh Gujjar, ” said.
Ghaziabad SSP Amit Pathak informed TOI the note was issued to Twitter India from the Loni boundary SHO, who’s investigating the situation.
