Ghaziabad / Lucknow: The probe panel that sought allegations of senior police police (IPS) who harassed a retired daughter of government officials in Ghaziabad had found accusations incorrectly, said the source on Saturday.
Probe was ordered on July 30 by Director of Uttar Pradesh General Police hit Gelel after the accusation raised on the social media and the investigation was handed over to the committee led by additional DG Ajay Anand, the sources said.
When contacted, Anand told PTI that he could not comment on this problem because he was an investigative officer in this case.
However, another official told PTI, “The probe panel in his recent report was sent to the DGP had found accusations against IG PAC BR Meena as incorrect.
The probe by the local police also found baseless abuse claims.” “The panel request was told by the daughter of the complainant that her father had leveled allegations with unhealthy health,” the official added.
Retired government officials, who live in Ghaziabad, have been taken to Twitter in July to raise allegations against 1997 batch IPS officers who are currently posted as Inspector General (IG) Constabulary (PAC) Province in Allahabad.
Recording allegations, the police rise have launched a question while the local Ghaziabad police have also started the investigation into the problem.
