Ghaziabad: The city recorded 15 new cases of dengue fever on Sunday, took Caseload to 237 – highest in the last five years.
Before this, the highest number of Ghaziabad cases was recorded in 2017, when 232 people felt positive for diseases transmitted through vectors.

Given the increase in cases of diseases transmitted through vectors, the Ghaziabad Health Department on Sunday held a meeting with members of various population welfare associations (Rwas).

They also raised stagnant water problems in waterways and regions.
In particular, most officials from the Corporation Municipal, Nagar Panchayats and other civil bodies were not at the meeting.
Malaria officers GK Mishra, however, said the department would notify citizenary bodies about complaints.
“Twelve other departments work together with the Ministry of Health to prevent transmitted diseases through vectors.
All of these departments will be asked to take action,” he told Rwa members.

Bhavtosh Shanthhdhar directs the military department to create a WhatsApp group for this purpose.
The department is seeking help from RWA in fighting diseases that are transmitted through vectors.
They were asked to curb water stagnation and accumulated dirt in their communities.
Apart from this, the worries raised about the area where there was no RWA.
