Noida / Ghaziabad: When the Ministry of Health continues to struggle with a daily vaccination program in most places, Ghaziabad receives 11,500 doses on Sundays and Noida gets 8,000 doses.
There was no vaccination drive conducted in Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad on Sunday but officials said all government centers would operate on Monday.
Drive vaccination for pregnant women has begun in Gautam Budh Nagar and more than 50,000 women like that tend to get Jab in the next few days, officials said.
“We have enough doses for now and we get fresh batches every day.
There is no shortage of such but people must stay patient and wait their turn.
We can convince residents that the vaccine supply will improve in a few days,” said Dr.
Neeraj Tyagi, District immunization officer, Gautam Budh Nagar.ghaziabad for Vaccination from GP Mathuria said: “We got 11,500 doses and for Monday, we have set a target of 15,800 jab.” The district has planned to start a mega vaccination journey from July 1 with a daily target of providing 40,000 doses , According to the plan, around 3.6 lakh people will be vaccinated.
But since July 1, around 1.2 lakh people have been inoculated.
In Ghaziabad, 23 lakh people must be vaccinated and so far, 12 lakh people have received the first dose.
