Ghaziabad: At least 316 children lost one or both of their parents because of the Pandemic Covid-19 in Ghaziabad, a survey conducted by the district administration has been found by the father of infection and 28 others lost their mother.
So far, administration has extended financial assistance to around 100 children while as many as they will get the same this week, officials said.
Dr.
RK Gupta District Supervision Officer on Sunday said the survey report was submitted to the government further.
“Detailed guidelines have been issued by the state government to provide assistance to such children.
The Department of Social Welfare, under Head Development Officer, is monitoring this assistance work,” added Gupta.Aerrier, the state government launched a ministerial service scheme Uttar Pradesh to organize maintenance, education and medical facilities for affected children.
Vikas Chandra said, “The forms of all children have been filled and around 100 children have been given monetary relief, so far.
According to government orders, the amount based on Rs 4,000 per month for the next three months has been stored in their legal bank account account.
Next time, the number of consolidation for the next six months will be saved.
“The district government has requested funds to pay the next installment, officials said.
Children learn in class IX and above will be given a laptop.
Chandra added that there were also provisions to recognize housing school students and the Kasturba Gandhi housing school.
As the criteria identify beneficiaries (up to 18 years), the victim must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh and should lose the income – the main earnings whose annual income is no more than Rs 2 Lakh, Chandra gets information.
To take advantage of the benefits of welfare schemes, one must submit a positive RT-PCR test report, blood report or CT scan from their parents as evidence.
Even when people who have died because post-covid complications are being considered under the scheme, officials said, adding that all children from the family will be able to benefit from the scheme.
