The woman has been identified as Priya Dahiya.
He and her husband Arvind, a property dealer, their daughter Navya and toddlers, whose naming ceremonies are scheduled to be held in the coming days, have lived in the area for the past eight years.
Loni Circle Officer (CO) Atul Sonkar said the incident occurred around 5pm on Sunday, when Arvind had come out to buy milk for children.
“When he returned after half an hour, he found Priya and Navya hanging.
The initial investigation revealed that Priya used a rope to strangle their son, who lay in bed in the room.
After that, he hung his daughter from the iron fence and then used Dupatta for Dupatta Hanging himself from the same fence.
Arvind took everything to the GTB Hospital in Delhi with the help of a neighbor but the doctor said they died on arrival, “said Sonkar.
When receiving information around 10pm, the police sent a team to the hospital but Arvind was not found, said CO.
“On Monday morning, the police found him lying in the lower state near the hospital.
He raised him to the GTB Hospital, where he told the police that his wife had died of suicide after killing their two children,” said Sonkar.
After that, the police team reached the family home along with the forensic team, he added.
Arvind Amit’s brother told the police that so Priya and the children were declared dead, he called it and said he would end his life.
After that, the phone was still turned off.
Amit, family members and other police continue to look for Arvind for hours and finally find it outside the corpse of the GTB Hospital around 4am on Monday.
“Arvind is not in a condition to reveal more, but the police will interrogate him once the doctor states he is suitable,” said Sonkar.
Priya chased Ba from a private college in Ghaziabad, said his family, added that he dreamed of joining the police and was preparing for a test to become a sub-inspector.
Some neighbors remember that in the morning, he used to run and exercise.
While the police said the reason behind suicide was unclear, they suspected there might be a family dispute.
The Priya family told the police that he married Arvind in 2014 against his parents’ wishes.
His uncle Praveen Kumar alleged that Arvind was involved in extra-termized affairs, which had caused tensions and often fought at home.
On July 8, Priya was dismissed from the hospital after giving birth to their son and when he returned home, he asked Arvind to end his relationship but he refused Kumar.
He also accused that Arvind was used to beat Priya for dowry and that after one such incident two years ago, he had left home for several days.
SP (Rustic) IRAJ King said the police had not received complaints so far.
“Arvind’s statement has not been recorded and the autopsy report is awaited,” he added.
