Ghaziabad: A woman allegedly shot by several attackers transmitted by bicycles in Indirapuram on Tuesday.
According to the police, he received a bullet wound on his shoulder and is currently under medical treatment at a private hospital.
The woman was identified as Baby Chaudhary, a resident of Sihani Gate Village.
A senior police officer said that the incident occurred around 8am when Chaudhary was on his way to a vegetable shop.
“Once he stepped out of the automatic rickshaw, the defendant had burned it where he received a bullet injury,” he added.
Sanjay Pandey, Sho, Police Station Indirapuram said that the woman filed a complaint against her husband Rajeev and his son Uttam.
“The initial investigation has revealed that the incident happened to several family disputes,” he added.
On the basis of complaints, a FIR has been registered with the father-son duo below section 307 (trying to murder) IPC at the Indirapuram police station.
According to eyewitnesses, two people on a motorcycle had tried to kill the woman.
Therefore they wear helmets, they cannot be identified.
“We have two teams to check the closest cctv footage of the area to track the culprit and bicycles.
The woman is stable now and her treatment is underway in a private hospital,” Sho said.
