New Delhi: The Habibanj Railway Station which was changed in Bhopal is likely to be renamed as Rani Kamalapati station.
The Madhya Pradesh government recommends this name to the center.
Rani Kamlapati is a Gond Gond ruler from Nizam Shah, Ginngarh’s head.
This gained significance considering that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would inaugurate this rebuilding station on Monday, on his government day launched Janjatiya Gaurav Diawas, the celebration contributed by tribal leaders.
Gond consists of Indian largest tribal groups with more than 1.2 crore populations.
Linguistically, Gond belongs to the Gondi-Manda subgroup from the South Central Branch of the Dravidian family family.
This will be the second development station developed after Modi was re-elected in 2019.
What was previously in Gandhinagar.
World-class train station with facilities such as airports has been changed in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode at a cost of Rs 450 Crore.
Modern stations will have several features such as passenger segregation based on arrival and departure, enough sitting sitting on the platform, lounge, concourse and dormitory and retirement rooms.
