Hackers target ATM machines with deposit facilities: Investigation

Nagpur: The Bajaj Nagar Police to investigate how the hackers get the list and location of the ATM machine installed by Indian state banks.
Hackers tend to buy a list of ATM machines that leak to steal cash but avoid recorded transactions.
MEARLIER This week, the city police in the joint operation arrested two ATM hackers, Anees Khan and Mohd Taleeb, from Palwal.
The other team had camped there to look for the third accused.
The Nagpur police team is now waiting to arrest Panchhi Khan, who along with Anees, has used Taliseb’s wife card to steal Rs 6.75 lakh from 4 SBI ATM located in the part of the city which is different between 14 and 16 June.
PI PI Police Station Bajaj Nagar Shubhangi Deshmukh told Tii that the city police had obtained the cessation of police detainees three days from both of them arrested from the court in Jaipur in Rajasthan.
City police tend to take them to Nagpur on Wednesday night.
“We will produce it in a local court on Friday (July 9) for their detention,” he said.
Deshmukh said that all ATMs accused of targeting having withdrawal facilities and deposits.
Alleged that the gang has a list of Pan-Indian machines.
Similar casts were also reported from other cities.
The police will try to make sure this details of the defendant, said the Senior PI said that the larger Chennai police have also arrested the suspect in New Delhi which is part of a similar gang that targets SBI ATMs with deposit facilities.
Geng targets 18 SBI ATMs in Chennai between June 17, 18.
