NEW DELHI: India said it had abstained earlier also in the UN Human Rights Council about the Israel-Palestine catastrophe in addition to other people, following the Palestine foreign minister complained to international ministry S Jaishankar about India’s stand.
Last week, India had abstained to a UNHRC settlement to establish a Commission of Inquiry into offenses associated with the most recent form of violence in Gaza, which directed Riyad al Maliki to compose to Jaishankar to state “India missed a chance to combine the worldwide community in the turning point, both critical and long overdue, and about the road to responsibility, peace and justice ” India, generally, doesn’t vote singlecountry resolutions in the UNHRC.
Most recently, India abstained on a comparable settlement targeting Sri Lanka.
