Haiti looked for US forces after a day of shootout and suspicion

Port-au-Prince: The government while Haiti said it asked the US to mobilize troops to protect the main infrastructure for trying to stabilize the state and prepare the election after the murder of President Jovenel Moise.
“We definitely need help and we have asked for help of our international partners,” said Interim PM Claude Joseph on Friday.
The extraordinary Haitian request for military assistance from the US, a former colonial master who has repeatedly intervened in the affairs of the nation, is the size of how brilliant the nation has been carried out by the days of chaos and intrigue.
But the Biden government has so far been given an indication that it will provide military assistance.
For now, only plan to send FBI officials to help in the probe.
On the streets, interviews roamed the suspect, and the police killed at least three people in a shootout.
Most of them were arrested apparently from Colombia – a former military military said he had changed mercenaries.
And in the political crisis of brewing, suspicion has encouraged what might happen to be a deadlock between the rival government.
On Friday, a group of parliamentarians announced they had recognized Joseph Lambert, the head of the Haiti Senate who was dismantled, as president while in the challenge for temporary government authorities.
They were also recognized as PM Ariel Henry, who was chosen by Moise to replace Joseph the day before he was killed but who did not serve or formed a government.
One of the parliamentarian members, Rosemond Pradel said Joseph “did not meet the requirements or had legal rights” to lead Haiti.
Joseph expressed disappointed that other people would try to take advantage of Moise’s death for political benefits.
“I am not interested in power struggles,” Joseph said, who considered leadership with military support.
Meanwhile, more details appear about crime.
Of the 20 people detained by the police, 18 were identified as Colombia, and two as American Haitian descendants, with five more suspects were said to be loose.
