Lucknow: With more than 4.29 lakh people who get Jab on Thursday, Uttar Pradesh created a new record in Covid-19 vaccination.
Health officials claim that more than 50% of the eligible population in Uttar Pradesh is now vaccinated with at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
According to data from the Cowin Portal updated until 10pm, 7.51 crore people in this country have taken at least one dose vaccine.
This is more than 50% of the total 15.04 crore vaccination targets that meet the requirements.
The country’s population that is fully vaccinated reach 1.55 crores, which is around 10% of the target.
The total number of dosages given in the country now stands at Crore 9.06.
In terms of age groups, 5.10 crore doses have been given in the 18 plus category, while the dose of 2.48 crores has been given to people in the age group 45 to 60.
Also, 1.47 crore doses have been given to parents.
