LONDON: Lewis Hamilton said his journey for social justice, and campaigned for diversity, had given his life a real goal while also helping to extend the Formula One career that broke the record.
The 36-year-old Mercedes driver, the winner of the 100 grands Prix record, chasing an unprecedented eighth world championship in a tight battle with a rival Red Bull rival Max Verstappen, 24.
Dutchman Verstappen is 12 points left.
Hamilton told Sky Sports Televisiany that his campaign, and used his platform to encourage conversations, had given him fresh energy and made it stronger than before.
“This year I haven’t taken advantage of past experiences, I have used this energy to do this positive work,” he said.
