Hyderabad: The owner of a 45-year-old cinema hall from Medak was killed by an unknown person in a village in Veldurthi Mandal.
The attackers burned the victim sedan and his punishment body was found in the Dickey of the Car.
On Tuesday morning, the villagers of Mangalaparthi in Veldurthi Mandal from the Medak District saw a burning car in an open place close to the forest area.
They also saw the remains of the body charred in the Dickey of the Car and told the police.
Toopran DSP M Kiran Kumar along with the police personnel team rushed to the place and verified the details of the car which was completely damaged.
With the help of the machine number, the police can identify that the car belongs to Srinivas, the owner of the cinema in Medak Town.
Srinivas’s family member told the police that he left home on Monday at 2pm at his Honda City car and did not return.
Srinivas’s telephone was turned off at 5 pm on Monday and the police suspected that he was killed by an unknown person after that.
The place where Srnivas’s scorched body was found in the Dickey of his car, about 40 km from Medak Town.
During the probe preliminary, the police learned that the victim had an affair with a married woman and family members might be involved in the murder.
“The attackers killed Srinivas and then burned the car with his body in Dickey,” DSP said.
The case is registered under Section 302 and 201 IPC.
