Chhath Puja is a popular festival that is celebrated for four days where devotees worship the Sun god.
The festival is mostly observed in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and parts of Uttar Pradesh.
This year’s festival begins on November 8, 2021 will expire on 12 November 2021.
It is also known as Chhathi, Dala Puja, Chhath Parv, Surya Shashti, and also Dala Chhath.
According to traditional custom, pilgrims prayed to the sun god and his wife Usha.

People take holy dips in the water body, can be streams, ponds or other bodies.
One day called Najay Khay in which those who fast (vrat) got up early in the morning to the garage first rays of God Sun and only then do they eat food.
The second day is called Kharna in which Muslims fast all day and break the fast in the evening.
The third day is called Sandhya Arghya where they congregate around water bodies to offer prayers.
the last day is called Usha Arghya and people pray and break their fast with Chhath Prasad.
