Ludhiana: A woman, who allegedly faced harassment in her husband’s hand and her in-laws, committed suicide at her home at UPKAAR Nagar on Saturday afternoon.
He was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room.
The woman accused her husband and father-in-law used to harass it and struggle with my mercy on small things.
The woman has been identified as Manvi Gupta, who has been married about five and a half years ago.
Manvi Vinod Gupta’s father accused that as soon as his marriage, his in-laws began to harass him to dowry and often beat him for small things.
Several times, he and other relatives have been in a problem solving the problem, but it didn’t work.
He said on Saturday morning, his daughter called him and said that he was quite annoyed and wanted to go home.
A few hours later Manvi’s father-in-law called him and said that Manvi had committed suicide.
