Dhaka: Deputy captain Harmanpreet Singh scored because the Indian Olympic bronze medal defeated Pakistani Arch-Rivals 3-1 to register their second consecutive victory and almost qualify for the semifinals of the champion’s men’s hockey tournament here on Friday.
HarmanPreet (8, 53 minutes) converts two corners of the penalty, while Akashdeep Singh’s comeback, who cannot make the Tokyo Olympic force, find a net from the field effort in the 42nd minute for the second purpose of the tournament.
The goal alone Pakistan was given a score by Junaid Manzoor in the 45th minute.
It was the second victory of India in the tournament after their slope was 9-0 from host Bangladesh, while Pakistan was still without a victory, after drawing a goal to Japan in their opening match.
India had previously been withdrawn 2-2 against Korea in the opening tournament.
India currently leads a table of points with seven points from three matches and will take Japan in their last Round-Robin match from the tournament five teams on Sunday.
Pakistan, meanwhile, only has one point from two matches.
India and Pakistan are the winners together in the last edition of the tournament in Muscat after the final was washed.
Indians fully dominated ownership in the first two quarters while Pakistan preferred to sit.
But they defended amazingly saving Lone HarmanPreet’s attack.
The drama was mostly in half Pakistan in the first two quarters when Indians pressed hard from onset and created several opportunities but the credit had to go to goalkeeper Mazar Abbas who was very brilliant.
But expected, India who took the lead in the eighth minute when HarmanPreet changed the first corner of the team with a strong low film to the left of the Pakistani goalkeeper.

Among them, India secured their second penalty angle and once again HarmanPreet precision was personified by his drag-flick.
India got another penalty angle of only three minutes from the last Hooter but Varun Kumar’s efforts were saved by the Pakistani goalkeeper.
