Chandigarh: Health Minister Haryana Anil Vij on Sunday urged the health of the health and family welfare to provide 10 doses of Lakh Covaxin to the state to meet the demanding demand from youth vaccination between 15 and 18 years.
VIJ submitted this request before the Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that he told him about the preparedness of the government Haryana for vaccination of the younger generation.
VIJ said that the total 15.40 beneficiaries of the Lakh was identified and vaccinated would begin from Monday.
He added that the state had reached the target of 98% of the first dose coverage and 70% of the second dose target to beneficiaries throughout the state.
“We have enough covishield stock in the state.
We need Covaxin while still following the demand for youth vaccinations and for the purpose of a dose of booster for frontline workers and state health workers,” Vij said.
According to information, Haryana has a total of 31 doses of lakh covishield and only eight doses of lakh from Covaxin in its shares.
The Minister of Health said that many lessons have been learned from the second wave which will be more helpful in fighting this pandemic.
Vij describes restrictions imposed on five districts contained by Covid and general restrictions forced to the public throughout the country.
“We make it mandatory to establish a PSA factory in the government and private hospitals with more than 50 beds.
So far, the PSA factory has been assigned in 84 government hospitals.
Likewise, 54 private hospitals have also formed this plant.

He further added, “We have all the drugs available now to fight Covid pandemics.

The genome sequencing lab has also been regulated in the state, which has started two more days.
