Ambala: an entrepreneur based in Ambala for allegedly deceived by Rs 90 lakh by several fraudsters who promised to provide rare cancer drugs.
The people accused of handing over two-headed snakes to the complainant.
A similar fraud case from more than Rs 30 Lakh was registered at Ambala City on June 17, 2021, where, one was accused of being arrested.
In his complaint, Sukhdev Singh from Chori Khori Village in the Naraingarh Block named one Rupesh of Dagar from Delhi and four other men as defendants.
Following complaints, Ambala police ordered the Rupesh of Dagar under Section 406 (criminal violations of trust) and 420 (cheating) from the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) at the Shahzadpur Police Station on Sunday.
“I have a factory in Himachal Pradesh, and Rupesh Nagar used to work in this factory.
Rupesh told me that Ayub Khan’s friends, Jarnail Singh, Sunil and Vinod Kumar, produced very rare and expensive cancer drugs.
He said that this drug heals all types of cancer and hundreds of people have healed.
When I asked about these costs, Rupesh told me that if I spent around Rs 50 lakh on this drug, then I would produce around Rs 3 Crore, “Sukhdev said in his complaint .
Sukhdev said he was trusted to accuse Rupesh and from January 28, 2020 to July 15, 2021, he gave around Rs 48 lakh to people accused.
“After two-three days, Job, Jarnail and Sunil came to meet me and said that my medicine was being prepared and will be sent soon.
They again demanded more RS 20 Lakh I gave.
Then they said that my medicine was ready.
And called me near the MDM Palace and demanded Rs 20 Lakher that I paid for them, “Sukhdev said.
“They gave me a gift type box and when I opened it, I found two-headed snakes in it.
I became afraid and the people accused of escaping from the place after taking Rs 20 Lakh from,” the alleged complainant.
