SANSA: Farmers on Wednesday blocked national highways here at three different points to demand the release of five protesters who were arrested last week after the attack on the Deputy Assembly Haryana Ranbir Gangwa.
Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body from various trade unions, directed stirring against agricultural law, also demanded a withdrawal of cases including the cost of determining more than 100 protesters ordered in connection with attacks on Gangwa cars on July 11.
Meanwhile, unlimited fasting from the leader of the Baldev Singh Sanda farmer in protest against the arrest and registration of cases entering the fourth day on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Health Team conducted a medical examination on the protest site.
The protesters blocked the highway for two hours at different points, including Khuian Malana Toll Plaza and Panjuana Village.
While emergency vehicles are permitted to graduate, blockade, however, resulting in congestion on both sides of the road.
The police in strength had been deployed to prevent unwanted incidents.
Many passengers, including some students, look down from the bus and walk on foot and use other ways to achieve their goals.
The police have recorded more than 100 people, mostly unknown, because of incitement, blocking public servants in the dismissal of their duties, attempts to assassinate elected representatives and damage public property after attacks on speaker vehicles.
The farmers who protested previously claimed that the administration could not show other videos or evidence to prove that farmers spoiled violence on July 11.
