Haryana closes the school, forbid construction in 4 NCR DISS

Chandigarh: The government Haryana on Sunday directed four NCR – Gurgaon, Faridabad, Jhajjar and Sonipat districts – to close the school, stopping conduction and demolition activities for seven days given the setbacks in air quality.
According to SN Roy, the Head of the Additional School, Department of Environment, Air Quality Standards in the NCR and Areas side by side are far below the norms received and reported to be close to the life-threatening level especially children.
This condition can damage health to an unresolved proportion level.
This problem was taken as a consciousness by the Supreme Court and after which meetings were held by the Air Quality Management Commission (CAQM) in NCR and regions side by side on Sunday.
“After considering the current situation, the Haryana government has decided to take a quick action with a view to immediately reduce air pollutants.
It has been directed that all schools will remain closed and all private companies and companies will operate their non-essential activities from home in four districts.
The idea is to reduce 40% vehicle load from the road, “said Roy in order.
The order further states that all construction and dismantal activities must be stopped total.
There is no burning of garbage.
Manually sweeping the way must be stopped.
Sustainable water sprinkles must be brought in four districts to reduce air pollution.
After living in the “severe” category for the past two days, Gurgaon air quality dropped to “poor” because of the better wind speed in the region.
On Sunday, Aqi was at 287 which was 441 on Saturday.
The district has seen “poor” aqi 10 days ago.
This has been in the category of “very bad” and “severe” since November 2 according to the pollution department, air quality can be dipped in “very poor” because the area will witness a minimum decline in the next few days.
On Sunday, one of the four air monitoring stations in Gurgaon recorded AQI in the ‘very poor’ category.
Aqi ‘very poor’ can cause “respiratory disease in prolonged exposure”, according to the Central Polution Control Board.
Murah Pahari Monitoring Station recorded the highest AQI 302, followed by sector 51 with AQI 292, Sitch Vikas with AQI 297 and Teri gram with AQI 257.
HSPCB officials said that the authority of the citizenship and other institutions followed all steps, according to a multilevel response action plan ( Grap).
“All civil agents on the ground managing situations on the ground to ensure that air quality becomes breathing.
Even though there has been an increase in AQI on Sunday but the air tends to fall in the coming days due to a decrease in temperature,” said an official from HSPCB.
According to the Meteorology Department of India (IMD), Gurgaon records a minimum temperature of 11 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
The current low temperature prevents the spread of pollutants closer to the ground, air quality experts said.
