Kurukshetra: Minister of Haryana (CM) Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday announced that he would register as the first student at Kurukshetra University (KU) to study his Japanese course.
CM Khattar discussed as a major guest of a large number of alumni who have joined physically and online from more than 21 countries on the occasion of my alumni meet “Pratisismriti: Alumni Reunion 2021” held by my alumni (Kukka) on Thursday.
Khattar said that institutional alumni such as the rulers would guide and lead the development and growth of an institution.
He said since the beginning of 1956, Kurukshetra University has set a new record in each field including education, research, sports, cultural activities, and social services in the past 65 years.
Alumni have played an important role in this achievement.

I have played an important role in making education accessible to all parts and areas in Haryana state and also throughout the country.

On this occasion, Minister of Manohar Lal’s chairman also released a souvenir of my alumni association.
He also inaugurated my multipurpose sports hall and launched a KG-to-PG scheme under the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 at the University.
Along with this, he also launched an online certificate course in Japanese, BBA Honors and M Tech Defense Technology which will be offered during an academic session of 2021-22.
He also launched Jingle for Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
This is where Haryana CM announces that it will become the first student to receive entrance tickets in online certificate courses in Japanese.
CM Khattar called all my alumni to play a major role in their alma mater growth and state Haryana.
He said that it was a matter of pride that my foundation stone was placed by the first president in India, Shri Rajendra Prasad on January 11, 1957.
The history of the broad educational temple was unmatched in itself.
On this trip, this university has played a major role in empowering education, rural youth, women, exploitation, and parts deprived of the community.
Over time, I have made a national and international sign as a multidisciplinary institution.
By becoming the first A-Plus class University Haryana, I have had differences in the state and the country said Haryana CM.
