Yamunanagar: Minister of Manohar Minister Haryana Lal Khattar laid out the foundation stone Samrat Mihirbhoj Gurukul Vidyapeth in the city of Jagadhri in the Yamunanagar district on Friday.
Education Minister Haryana Kanwar Pal and Ambala Members of Parliament (MP) Rattan Lal Kataria also present on this occasion.
CM Manohar announced a grant matching RS 1 Crore, government assistance of RS 51 lakh and RS Lakh from voluntary funds to the Gurukul Education Institute.

At this institution, education from class VI to XII will be given to boys.
Apart from the ancient education system, students who study here will be able to learn on CBSE pattern lines.
Kanwar Pal and MP Rattan Lal Kataria also announced RS 31 Lakh and RS 11 Lakh each for Gurukul.
Others were present on this occasion including the Yamunanagar Mla Ghanshayam Dass Arora, Faridabad Mla Rajesh Nagar and Chair of the Selection Commission of Haryana Bhopal Singh Khadri.
