Chandigarh: The BJP-JJP alliance in power in Haryana finally decided to enter the cabinet expansion on Tuesday.
The source said the possibility of including JJP MLA from Tohana Devender Singh Babi and BJP Mlaas of Hisar and Nangal Chaudhary Kamal Gupta and Abhe Singh Yadav, respectively.
State Minister Sandeep Singh can also be elevated, he added.
“The cabinet expansion will take place at a function that will be held at Haryana Raj Bhavan at 4 pm on December 28,” said an official statement.
The 90-member member assembly has 12 ministers, including the Chief of Manohar Minister Lal Khattar and State Minister Kamshh Dhanda and Sandeep Singh.
Now, two ministers can be accommodated in service.
At present, Deputy Chairperson of the Minister of Dushyant Chautala and Anoop Dhanak are two cabinet ministers from JJP quota.
Babi defeated the former Head of BJP Subhash Barala with a great margin to win the Tohana constituency and was one of the possibilities for a cabinet bed.
However, he missed the opportunity allegedly due to the pressure from BJP.
The source said when Babi and Barala had reached a ceasefire.
