Patna: The Haryana police team on Sunday arrested four people from Nawada and Nalanda in the Cyberfaud case from RS11.97 Lakh conducted in Rohtak.
Those who were arrested were identified as Vikash Prasad, 32, and his brother Niwas Kumar, 24, from Katardih Village under the Katrisarai police station in Nalanda and Gaurav Kumar and Saurav Kumar from Apsarh under the police area in Nawada District.
Police Sub-Inspector Haryana Kapil Nandlal, who was part of the raid team, said a Manjeet Kumar from Patna was arrested in the same case on July 8.
“They have cheated someone in Rohtak after luring him by winning the lottery.
Further investigation occurs in the case after that more arrests will be made.
We collect details of the person captured to find out where all the money has been transferred,” he said.
Nandlal said four of the Cyberprauds were arrested taken to Rohtak.
KatrisArai Polish Polish Sho Amresh Kumar Singh said the laptop, two cellphones and debit cards were restored by the Haryana police team from their residence.
He said the arrest was made in the case registered with the Cybercrime police station in Rohtak.
“The defendant has been taken on transit delivery,” he said.
