Gurugram: In the steps that will encourage absent from cleaning power contributions, the state electricity department has launched a ‘additional cost’ scheme.
Under the scheme, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) will not impose interest costs in the power load contributions and also allow them to pay easy installments.
In addition, consumers can take new power connections by depositing all the subject matter of their extraordinary bill in one GO or installment.
This scheme is valid until November 30.
Consumer categories and domestic consumers, agriculture, industries and non-domestic whose electrical connections are cut until 30 June because non-payment bills on time, all will be able to benefit from this scheme.
“The Minister of Power has directed us to launch this special scheme for consumers.
Those who have been waiting for contributions are asked to settle it on November 30.
There will be no additional fees on the extraordinary bill on the payment of the principal number,” said an Uhbvn official.
Further discounts note that consumers can also choose an easy installment option where they have to pay 25% of extraordinary contributions and the remaining amounts can be stored in six installments.
However, in rural areas, this scheme will only apply to consumers of villages under Mhara Gaon Jaggag Gaon Yojana.
